Cone (Light Brown Yarn)

  • Row 1: Make a magic circle and work 6 single crochet
  • Row 2: Single crochet in next 2 stitches, increase, repeat 2 times for 8 stitches
  • Row 3: Single crochet in next 3 stitches, increase, repeat 2 times for 10 stitches
  • Row 4: Single crochet in next 4 stitches, increase, repeat 2 times for 12 stitches
  • Row 5: Single crochet in next 5 stitches, increase, repeat 2 times for 14 stitches

  • Row 6: Single crochet in next 6 stitches, increase, repeat 2 times for 16 stitches
  • Row 7: Single crochet in next 7 stitches, increase, repeat 2 times for 18 stitches
  • Row 8: Single crochet in next 8 stitches, increase, repeat 2 times for 20 stitches
  • Row 9: Single crochet in next 9 stitches, increase, repeat 2 times for 22 stitches

Ice Cream (Change to Pink Yarn)

  • Row 10: Single crochet in each stitch around
  • Row 11: Work in front loops only, chain 4, crochet a decorative cluster across the next two front loops, slip stitch in the next front loop, repeat around to create the drip effect
  • Row 12: Join yarn to the back loops only of Row 10 and single crochet in each stitch
  • Row 13: Single crochet in next 3 stitches, increase, repeat 6 times

  • Rows 15–17: Single crochet in each stitch around

  • Row 20: Single crochet in next 2 stitches, invisible decrease, repeat 6 times
  • Row 21: Single crochet in next 1 stitch, invisible decrease, repeat 6 times
  • Row 22: Make 6 invisible decreases
  • Finishing: Cut yarn, weave the tail through remaining loops, pull closed, and hide the end
