Feet and Legs (Make 2)

  • Start with Black yarn.
  • R1: MR 6 SC (6)
  • R2: 6 INC (12)
  • R3 (BLO): 1 SC, 4 DEC, 3 SC (8)
  • R4–R6: 8 SC (3 rounds)
  • Change to Flesh color.
  • R7–R9: 8 SC (3 rounds)
  • Change to Navy Blue.
  • R10: 8 SC (8)

 

  • Finish Foot 1: SS, fasten off, and stuff.
  • Finish Foot 2: Do not fasten off; stuff lightly.

Body

  • Continue with Navy Blue yarn.
  • Make 2 SS to center the joining point.
  • CH 1 to connect both legs.
  • R1 (Joining): 2 SC, INC pattern around both legs and chain (24).
  • R2: 24 SC.
  • Change to Red yarn.
  • R3: (2 SC, DEC) x 6 (18).
  • Change to Flesh color.
  • R4–R5: 18 SC.
  • Change to White yarn (do not cut Flesh color).
  • R6: 18 SC.
  • R7: (1 SC, DEC) x 6 (12).
  • Change to Flesh color.
  • R8: 12 SC.
  • Stuff the body firmly.

Head

  • Continue with Flesh color.
  • R1: (1 SC, INC) x 6 (18).
  • R2: (2 SC, INC) x 6 (24).
  • R3: (3 SC, INC) x 6 (30).
  • R4: (4 SC, INC) x 6 (36).
  • R5–R9: 36 SC.
  • R10: (4 SC, DEC) x 6 (30).
  • R11: (3 SC, DEC) x 6 (24).
  • R12: (2 SC, DEC) x 6 (18).
  • R13: (1 SC, DEC) x 6 (12).
  • R14: 6 DEC (6).
  • Insert safety eyes between R6–R7, 6 stitches apart.
  • Stuff the head as you go and close.

Ears (Make 2)

  • Use Flesh color.
  • MR 3 SC.
  • SS into ring to form a semicircle.
  • Fasten off with a sewing tail.
  • Sew between R6 and R7 of the head.

Jacket Front Panel

  • Use Yellow yarn.
  • R1: CH 17, CH 2 (turn), 17 HDC starting from 3rd CH.
  • R2: CH 2, turn, 6 HDC, DEC HDC, 1 HDC, DEC HDC, 6 HDC (15).
  • Change to Black yarn.
  • SC around the edge for finishing.
  • Fasten off and weave in ends.

Arms (Make 2)

  • Use Flesh color.
  • R1: MR 5 SC.
  • R2: 5 SC.
  • Change to Yellow yarn.
  • R3–R5: 5 SC.
  • R6: (1 SC, INC) x 2, 1 SC (7).
  • R7: 7 SC.
  • SS, fasten off with tail, and lightly stuff.
  • Sew arms to sides, securing jacket panel in place.

Hair and Braid

  • Use Violet yarn.
  • R1: MR 6 SC.
