Materials
- Red yarn
- White yarn
- Black yarn

- Fiberfill stuffing

Red Half (Top)
- Start with a Magic Ring using red yarn and make 6 single crochet (sc) stitches.
- Round 2: Increase in each stitch (12).
- Round 3: (1 sc, inc) repeat around (18).
- Round 4: (2 sc, inc) repeat around (24).
- Round 5: (3 sc, inc) repeat around (30).
- Continue increasing in this pattern until the circle reaches your desired diameter.
- Work 2–3 rounds even with no increases to form the curve of the Pokéball’s top.
- Switch to white yarn to begin the lower half.
White Half (Bottom)
- Continue crocheting in white yarn around the same number of stitches as the red half.
- Work several rounds evenly without increases to form the middle body section.
- Begin decreasing symmetrically: (3 sc, dec), (2 sc, dec), (1 sc, dec), until nearly closed.
- Stuff the ball firmly with fiberfill before the final decreases.
- Continue decreasing until closed, then cut the yarn and weave the tail through remaining stitches.
Black Band
- With black yarn, crochet a long chain that fits around the middle of the Pokéball.
- Sew or slip stitch it around the seam where the red and white halves meet.
Center Button
- White Circle: Magic Ring, 6 sc. (Optional: add one round of increases.)
- Black Circle: Magic Ring, 6 sc.
- Sew the black circle onto the center of the white circle.
- Attach the finished button to the front of the Pokéball over the black band.
