Materials

• 2 mm milk cotton yarn in:
• Color A: Blue (Body)
• Color B: Brown (Chocolate Drizzle)
• Color C: White (Cream)
• Color D: Red (Cherry)
• Two small yarn strands (for cherry stem and sewing)
• 2.5 mm crochet hook
• Scissors
• Needle
• Hot glue
• 5 mm safety eyes
• Cotton fiberfill stuffing

Flan Cat Body (Color A: Blue)

• R1: Magic ring with 6 sc. Slip stitch to close. (6 sc)
• R2: Inc in every stitch. (12 sc)
• R3: (1 sc, 1 inc) repeat around. (18 sc)
• R4: (2 sc, 1 inc) repeat around. (24 sc)
• R5: (3 sc, 1 inc) repeat around. (30 sc)
• R6: Working in BLO, 1 sc in every stitch. (30 sc)
• R7–R10: 1 sc in each stitch. (30 sc)
• R11: (3 sc, 1 dec) repeat around. (24 sc)
• R12: 1 sc in each stitch. (24 sc)
• R13: Switch to Color B. 1 sc in each stitch. (24 sc)
• R14: (2 sc, 1 dec) repeat around. (18 sc)
• R15: (1 sc, 1 dec) repeat around. (12 sc)
• Stuff firmly. Cut yarn, weave through front loops, and pull tight to close.

 

Ears (Color A: Blue)

• Insert hook at the edge between Color A and B. Chain 1.
• Work 1 sc.
• In the next stitch: 1 hdc, 1 dc, 1 hdc.

Assembly and Details

• Glue all parts together.
• Place eyes two rounds below ears, leaving four stitches between them.
• Embroider mouth and whiskers with brown yarn.
• Attach cream topping and cherry on top.
• Add pink blush on cheeks if desired.
