Materials

  • 4-ply cotton yarn in Green and Dark Green (for broccoli) or Cream (for cauliflower)

  • Fiberfill stuffing

Body (Main Stem)

  • R0: Magic Ring with 6 SC. SS to close, CH 1 to start next round.
  • R1: 12 SC (Inc in each stitch).
  • R2: 18 SC (repeat 1 SC, 1 Inc ×6).
  • R3: BLO — 18 SC.
  • R4-8: 18 SC each round.
  • R9: 24 SC (repeat 1 Inc, 2 SC ×6).

Broccoli Tops (Make 5)

  • R10: CH 1, work 4 SC, CH 1, SS to first stitch to close.
  • R11: 5 SC (include one SC in back bump of chain). SS to close.
  • R12-13: 5 SC each round.
  • R14: 10 SC (5 Inc).
  • R15-16: BLO — 10 SC each round.
  • R17: BLO — 5 Dec.
  • Finish: Fasten off. Start next top by inserting hook in 4th stitch from previous top end. Repeat R10-R17 to make 5 tops total.

Center Broccoli Top

  • R10: Insert hook into marked loop from Round 11 of first top, make 6 SC around the chain. Add one SC into Round 9 of the body, SS to close (6 sts).
  • R11-17: Follow R11-17 from small top.
  • Finish: Stuff, weave through back loops to close hole, leaving front loops unworked. Hide yarn ends.

 

Crochet Broccoli Amigurumi Free Pattern For Beginners

Leaves (Dark Green Yarn)

  • Attach yarn to front loop of Round 15 of any top.
  • R1: (1 SC, CH 2, 1 SC), CH 2 — repeat in each stitch around. SS to close.
  • R2-3: CH 2, repeat (1 SC, CH 2, 1 SC), CH 2 in each stitch from previous round.
  • Final Edge: CH 2, continue same sequence in last 5 stitches. Cut yarn, fasten off.
  • Repeat leaf steps for remaining broccoli tops. Optional: embroider a cute face to finish.
